Charisma Carpenter
Charisma Carpenter was born on July 23rd, 1970. [1] She played Cordelia Chase in the supernatural drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999) and its spin-off series Angel (1999-2004). She also played Kyra in Charmed (2004), Kendall Casablancas in Veronica Mars (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell in The Lying Game (2012-2013) as well as Lacy in The Expendables film series (2010-2012 ).
Carpenter was born in Las Vegas, Nevada the daughter of Christine Carpenter, who was a bird sanctuary worker and Don Carpenter, a salesman. Carpenter is of Spanish, French, and German origin (from her maternal grandfather). Carpenter attended Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas;[6] she was also a member of a troupe of song and dance that performed in the Las Vegas Valley when she was just nine years old.
Carpenter, then 15, and her family moved to Rosarito Beach in Baja California, Mexico [2] and later moved to San Diego, California. She was a student at Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. [2][failed verification] After graduation, Carpenter traveled throughout Europe. Carpenter returned to San Diego and worked in the video store, as an aerobics instructor and property management. She played cheerleader with San Diego Chargers football in 1991. In 1992, she relocated to Los Angeles.
Henry Hubbard Jr. was an ex- San Diego officer and serial rapist who attempted to subdue her and two of her male acquaintances while they were swimming in San Diego in 1991. During the fight the two friends as well as Hubbard were shot, forcing him to flee the area; both friends survived the assault. Hubbard was arrested and was convicted, then sentenced to 56 years ' imprisonment for a series of rapes. Carpenter removed Hubbard's flashlight one of the police's flashlights, from the beach. He left it on the beach. The flashlight proved to be crucial evidence in the case against Hubbard.
Carpenter was ranked No. Carpenter was No. 31 on the AskMen's Top 99 desirable women 2002[30]. 44 on their 2005 List. Carpenter declared that she doesn't think of herself as a sex icon however she does consider herself a sex symbol. Carpenter was on the cover of Playboy magazine's June issue in 2004. Also, she was featured in a 10 page naked photo. People magazine asked Carpenter in 2005 if she'd ever pose again for Playboy. Carpenter replied "I do not know." Playboy was something I did with a purpose. It was a good choice for me financially. It also seemed like it was the best choice for me. My son was just born and I had gained 50 pounds since my pregnancy. I wanted to look like my former self. I wanted to look attractive and attractive. I thought, "What if I went to full speed?"
